DAVIES- After a courageous battle with cancer, Irene Davies peacefully passed away at Woodstock General Hospital on Monday October 15, 2007. Predeceased by loving parents Edgar and Sarah Davies and brother Stanley. Dear sister of Jean Towers and her husband John, and George Davies. Great aunt and great- great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Irene will be sadly missed by all. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday October 19, 2007 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm with Rev. Don Moore officiating. Cremation to follow. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
