SEMINARA, Immacolato "Sam"- On Thursday, October 26th, 2017, the world lost another good man. Immacolato "Sam" Seminara, in his 92nd year, passed away with his loving family at his side at Woodstock Hospital. Beloved husband of 64 years to Liliana Seminara (nee Barchiesi). Loving father of Salvatore (Wendy), Concetta (Mike), Davey Seminara, and his beloved grandchildren Wesley, Laura, and Grace. Dear brother to sister Martina and brother-in-law to Elena, Graziella, Gino, and Wally. Predeceased by his brother Luigi and sisters Angela, Rosa, Natalina, and Isabella, and sisters-in-law Pina and Quinta. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A veteran of World War II having served as a marine in the Italian Navy. Immigrated to Woodstock in 1951, married and started his family and became a proud and grateful Canadian citizen. Worked and retired after 32 years from Domtar (Beachville). He is greatly loved and sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Monday, October 30th , 2017 for visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, and the funeral mass at 1:30 pm with Father Richard Dales. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Holy Trinity Catholic Parish would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004).
