MILLAR - Ila. Irene Levisa. Millar (nee Gunter) of Sudbury and a former resident of Woodstock for over 50 years, passed away peacefully at the Sudbury Regional Hospital Laurentien Site with family and friends by her side on the 30th of October after a lengthy struggle with lung cancer. Well known for her card playing, darts, bingo and as a champion checker player, Ila also enjoyed the quiet lakeside in Sudbury. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Millar. Mother of Brenda Benedict and her husband Richard of Sudbury. Grandmother (Nan) of Kevin Willand, Stacey, Cortney and Jamie Benedict (wife Jennifer nee Milnar). Great Grandmother of Brett and Mitchell Willand. Sister of Clinton Gunter and his wife Joyce of Cohill, Inez Smith of Cohill and Reginald Gunter and his wife Pearl of Deseronto. Sister in law of Elsie Gunter (nee Pickett). Predeceased by daughter Joanne Wonch, brothers Leo Gunter, Leonard, Delbert (Duffy) and Ross McQuillan and son in law Donald Willand. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock (519 539-0004) on Saturday after 12:00 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev.
