HANSFORD, Ila May - At her residence on Thursday January 3, 2013. Ila May (nee Piper) Hansford of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock and formerly of North Park Cres., Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Hansford (1990). Dear mother of Kingsley and his wife Arlene of Oxford Centre, Lorne and his wife Rossalyn of London and the late Lorraine Reeves and her late husband Garry of Beachville. Loved by her foster son Jim Plank of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Blanche Keanns of Woodstock. Predeceased by her sister Muriel Piper. Ila was a longtime member of College Ave. Church, College Ave. U.C.W. Group #2 and formerly of Folden's United Church. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lloyd Bennett officiating. Interment later in the Harris St. Cemetery, Ingersoll. If desired, memorial contributions to College Ave. Church or Sakura House would be appreciated.
