Ian William Hart

HART, IAN – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday July 2nd, 2022. Beloved husband of Eleanor G Hart (nee Merritt), and the late Geraldine Stoddart (1966) and Loraine Goodall (1994). Loving father of Larry Hart (Leigh), Karen Kitching (Ed), and Ellen Kaufman (David). Stepfather to Patty Burt, David Burt (Jane McKay), and Gina Taylor (Tim).  Cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Janet Durham (Lawrence). Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Hart (2018), grandson Eric Kitching (2018) and brothers Tom and Allen Hart. Ian served in the Royal Canadian Navy until 1960. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home at 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday July 9th, 2022 for a celebration of life from 2-4pm.
