KITCHING - At his residence surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday June 16, 2009. Howard A. Kitching of People Care, Tavistock and formerly of RR# 3, Woodstock in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Ethel (nee Wilton) Kitching (2008) and the late M. Jean (nee Perry) Kitching (1986). Dear father of Don and his wife Shirley of Woodstock, Jim and his wife Brenda of St. Marys, Pat Kitching of Woodstock, Ed Ramsay of London and Maryhelen Sparks and her husband Larry of Cathcart. Dear grandfather of Arlene Grant (Rick), Stella Culbertson (Mike), Jennifer Dizon (Adrian), Shelly Doble (Andrew), Mark (Marlene), Scott (Gayle), Tim (Shana), Carla Johnston (Coby), Jessi Stephenson, Jeff Stephenson, John Ramsay (Eva), Erica Ramsay (Matt), Robert Ramsay, Gary Sparks (Katrina), Ryan Sparks and great grandfather of twelve. Dear brother of Margaret Blackmore of Woodstock. Predeceased by an infant son William and by his brothers Gordon, Leo and Glen. Howard was a longtime member of Dundas St. United Church, was a dairy farmer in the East Zorra Tavistock area for many years and was a founding member of Oxford Milk Producers. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday June 19, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey officiating. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario, Dundas St. United Church or Southgate Seniors Centre would be appreciated.
