Hille Alven Slager

SLAGER, Hille (Al) - Passed very peacefully at his home in Woodstock on Monday, August 10th, 2020 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Grace Slager (nee Dykstra) for over 61 years. Cherished father of Patty (Karl) Reyneveld, Peter (Diana) Slager, Harry (Tammy) Slager, Marlene (Mike) Bloxsidge, Don (Kim) Slager, Hilda McDonald and Lori (Rob ) Wubs. Forever missed by his 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Hille will be missed by his sister's Tilly (the late Case) Dekraker, Elsie (Charlie) Triemstra and brother Mike (Carolyn) Slager. Also his sister-in-law's Ina Slager, Nancy Slager, and Bonnie Slager. Hille is predeceased by his brother's Sybren, Charlie, John (Penny) and Pieter Slager. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, August 13th, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 6 pm to 8 pm (masks required). A private service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Woodstock.
