Herman Massen
January 11, 1924 — February 26, 2019
MASSEN,
Herman Massen was taken into the loving arms of Jesus on February 26th, 2019, after a long, healthy and blessed life.
Herman was married to his wife Janna for 66 years and she was his "everything". Herman's children Paul, Randy, John
and Sharon were an extension of that "everything" and ran a close second. Herman was father-in-law to Cathy Massen,
Lise Massen and Sandy Massen and his favourite (only) son-in-law Andy Smith . Herman's most treasured possession
were his wife and kids. His work ethic was undeniable. His faith in Christ was simple, strong and consistent his entire life.
"Opa" was grandfather to Walter, Rachel, Scott, Laura, Krystina, Andrew, Matthew, Adam, Sarah, Alex and Amber.
He was great grandfather to Griffin, Liam, Johnathan, Emmett, Silas and Liana.
Special thanks to the Staff at Woodingford Lodge where Herman enjoyed the last 5 years of his life. The staff
were loving and kind to him. In the last month he commented to all his family on how happy he was at Woodingford.
