Henry Watson (Scoot) Muir - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 97 years of age. Scoot was born on June 10th, 1922 to parents Clara and James Muir. Scoot married Norma Betty Allen in 1950 and the couple moved to Beamsville where he worked for Hydro. Scoot is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Bob and Donna Muir, daughter-in-law Kathy, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Betty (2018) and son Allen Muir (2015). Scoot served in the RCAF in WW2 and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 612. Scoot was also a proud Mason with the Ivy Lodge in Beamsville. An avid golfer, Scoot was a member of the Twenty Valley Golf Club for over 60 years. The couple enjoyed golfing through the winter in Okeechobee Florida. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him. Henry will be buried in Embro, Ontario on a date yet to be determined. A celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army of Canada or charity of your choice.
