Strookappe - Peacefully and surrounded by his family on Wednesday November 12, 2003. Hendrik Strookappe in his 88th year graciously departed from this world, now safe in the arms of Jesus. Beloved husband of 61 years, Henry leaves behind his loving wife Elisabeth. Devoted father to Jane Warnar (Peter), Elsie Demers and John Mallon, Hattie Short (David), Leah Soar (Howard), Marilyn Grice (Larry) and son Eric, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519 539-0004) on Friday after 10:00 am where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11:00 am with his grandson Pastor Bryan Warnar officiating. Interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the A.L.S. Society London Chapter (Lou Gehrigs Disease) would be appreciated.
