deHEER- At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday November 22, 2002. Hendrik (Henk) deHeer of Canterbury St. Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Hilda deHeer. Dear father of John and his wife Dale, Frank and his wife Kathe. Loved grandfather of Tyler and Amy; Erica, Jillian, Robin and Michael. Dear brother of Janni Maaten and her husband Peter, and Peter deHeer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Henk was employed with the O.P.P. for over 25 years, retiring in 1986 as a corporal. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Woodall officiating. Interment following cremation in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
