Hendrick "Hank" Horinga

HORINGA, Hendrick "Hank"- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, August 25th, 2019, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Betty Horinga (nee Hoiting). Loving father of Coby (Harry) Knibbe, Jake (Ann), Jenny (George) Vanderveen, Martha (Luke) Sikkens, Geraldine (John) Bouwers, Sid (Jeannette), Liz (Bruce) Zantingh, Henry (Sue), John,  and Jeff (Marcia). Cherished grandfather of 32 and great grandfather of 19. Dear brother to Janet Scheltema, Grace (Henry) Kikkert,  Bill Horinga and brother-in-law to;  Jitske Horinga, Lies De Vries,  Peter (Tena) Hoiting, Willy Hoiting, Dini (Don) VanderMeer and Ann (Bernard) Evers. Predeceased by his  grandson Joshua Bouwers, granddaughter Stacey Horinga, siblings;   Wiebe (Sally) Horinga, Geert Horinga, Martha (Fred) Visser, Klaas (Johanna) Hoiting, and sisters-in-law Margaret Horinga, Hennie Hoiting and brothers-in-law Siep Hoiting, Jaap DeVries and Ray Hoiting.  Hank will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock on Tuesday August 27, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will take place in the church sanctuary on Wednesday at 11:30 am . A family interment will take place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
