Helena Klassen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen on January 3, 2025 with her beloved family by her side at the age of 85. Born on November 13, 1939, she lived a life marked by love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.

Helen was known to her children  as the "Best Mother In The World." Her nurturing spirit and warm heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was adored by her children and took immense pride in her role as a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Martha (Rick) Capling, Hilda (Mark) Kersten, and Irene Ede, as well as her son Ed (Christine) Klassen. Helen will be missed deeply by her grandchildren:  Ashley, Jenni (Brent), Nick, Jaden, and Sadie, along with her great-grandchildren, Cameron and Oakley.

Helen had a close bond with her best friend, Chris Ringland, and her absence will be felt by her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She reunites in eternal rest with her husband George, her sons Jerry and Ricky, and her grandson David, who will surely welcome her with open arms.

A Visitation will be held in Helen's honor on January 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Bethel Pentecostal Church located at 269 Quarter Town Line in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Helen's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
