WETTLAUFER - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday May 7, 2009. Helene "Helen" Stella Wettlaufer (nee Szypniewski) of Woodstock in her 59th year. Loved mother of Kiel Wettlaufer (Dawn Connelly) of Tavistock, Christopher "Nick" Wettlaufer (Crystal Smith) and Stephanie Wettlaufer, all of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Camryn, Brodie, Dylan, Hayley and Julia. Cherished daughter of Stan Szypniewski and the late Wanda Szypniewski of Woodstock. Loved sister of Ted Szypniewski (Christine) of Woodstock, Stan Szypniewski (Sandy) of Beachville, Josie Malanson (Allen) of Alberta, Ed Szypniewski (Darby) of Ingersoll and Joe Szypniewski (Lori) of Barrie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday May 10, 2009 from 2-4 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 169 Ingersoll Ave., Woodstock, on Monday May 11, 2009 at 11 am with Father Mathias Wronski officiating. Interment following cremation in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
