WALTERS - At her residence on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Margaret "Helen" Walters (nee Gauld) of Caressant Care, Woodstock, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Walters (1978). Dear mother of Donna Phillips (George) of Brantford, Elizabeth Bender of Huntsville, and John Walters of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Susan Gambacort (Terry) of Brantford, Greg Phillips (Marg) of Brantford, Diane McFarland (Jeff) of Brantford, Jason Bender (Carma) of Huntsville, and Michael Walters (Tammy) and Chris Walters (Kim) all of Woodstock and great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by her little friend Sugar and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son-in-law Ray Bender and her sister Jean Roberts. Helen was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxillary Branch #55 Woodstock. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) after 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2009 where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 3:30 pm with Rev. Don Moore officiating. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
