Helen Isabel (Ball) Ulch

ULCH - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Sunday December 21, 2008. Helen Isabel Ulch (nee Ball) formerly of RR# 2, Embro in her 84th year. Wife of the late Harold Ulch (1999). Dear and loving mother of Kenneth and his wife Darlene of Embro, Bruce and his wife Elaine of Calgary and Nancy Pearson and her husband Don of Peterborough. Dearly loved grandmother of Tammy (Brad) Kropf of Woodstock, Raymond Ulch of Embro, Kyle, Ryan and Chelsey Ulch of Calgary, Rebecca and Michael Pearson of Peterborough. Dear sister of Gerald and his wife Margaret Ball, Allan and his wife Barbara Ball all of Embro, Lloyd and his wife Dorothy Ball of Ingersoll, Watson and his wife Margaret Ball of Salford and sister-in-law of Mary Knight of Stratford and Margaret Ulch of Simcoe. Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward H. Ball (1988), Florence M. Ball (1981). Helen was a life member of Golspie UCW and a member of Embro Knox United Church, Life member of Braemar Women's Institute. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday December 27, 2008 from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Embro Knox United Church on Monday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Judy Campbell officiating. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to the Embro Knox United Church, Embro Firefighters Emergency Equipment Fund or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
