SIVYER, HELEN IRENE - After a brief illness, Helen Irene Sivyer passed away at Albright Manor in Beamsville, Ontario on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in her 92nd year with her family at her side. Helen was predeceased in 2000 by her husband Donald. She is survived by her sister Margaret Wessenger of London; sons Robert (Patricia) of Salford, Richard (Linda) of Smithville, David (Spring) of Kitimat, BC, and daughter Barbara Richards (William) of Oak Point, NB. Her 10 loving grandchildren include Stuart, Kimberley and Anita Sivyer; Jennifer Ieluzzi and Dan Sivyer; Arthur Sivyer and Michelle Gibson; Philip, Daryl and Benjamin Cooper and 4 step-grandchildren, Clark, Elizabeth, Theresa and Bradford Richards. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren including Joshua Sivyer, Kaytie Schram, Zachary and Chloe Sivyer, Ethan and Zoë Sivyer, Ethan and Joshua Ieluzzi, Lucas and Abigail Sivyer, Ciarán and Niamh O'Connell-Cooper and Zoey Jean Cooper as well as 2 step great-grandchildren, Juniper and Linden Richards and two great-great-grandchildren (Saphire and Tyson); nieces Lynne Stewart, Anne Spivey, Susan Roy and nephew Harold Noad. Visitation will take place at Beachville Baptist Church, 8 King Street, Beachville, Ontario on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:00 followed immediately by a celebration of life at 11:15. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 495 in Beachville. Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who maintained her love of family and sense of humour to the very end. She has taught us well to follow the Golden Rule. We have been blessed by many fine moments and great experiences especially as she approached the last leg of her journey. Long time resident of Ingersoll, Salford and Woodstock, Helen spent her last three years at Albright Manor in Beamsville, Ontario. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff for the loving care given to Helen over the years. Helen has recently been accepted into the Western University Medical Research program. Helen was a strong supporter of the Beachville Baptist Church, the Albright Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation amongst others.
