BULYAKI, Helen Ilona, - Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock on Sunday September 20th 2015. Helen I. Bulyaki (nee Wolosinovsky) formerly of Canterbury St. and Chapel St. Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Bulyaki (2003). Loved mother of Chuck and his wife Joyce, Ken and his wife Caroline all of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother of Janine Fonk, Dawn (John) Triska, Kyle (Jen) Bulyaki, Karyn Bulyaki, Kelly Bulyaki (Craig Ironside), Tyler Mork (Jen Gosling), Barbara Bulyaki and great grandmother of Alan Fonk, Justin Fonk, Kurtis (Sonya) Fonk, Jonathon Fonk, Riley Triska, Zachary Triska, Britney Triska, Connor Bulyaki, Spencer Bulyaki, Nicole Bulyaki, Braiden Pinard and Isabella Mork. Dear sister of Margaret (Barna) Olah, John (Deb) Wolosinovsky and sister-in-law of Fay Wolosinovsky. Predeceased by her parents George and Mary Wolosinovsky, grandson Joseph Bulyaki, great grandson Tyler Triska and siblings Irene (Arnold) Oxley, Mary (Frank) Horvath, Kathleen (Joe) Latsay, Julia (Julius) Simon and George Wolosinovsky. Helen will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Helen emigrated with her parents and siblings from Hungary to Canada in 1928, settling in Spiritwood Sakatchewan. In 1944 Helen and husband Charles moved to Woodstock where she enjoyed many jobs in the restaurant and textile industries. Helen opened her own beauty salon on Chapel St. The Riviera, where she worked until retiring in 1990. Helen was a member of St. Ritas/ Holy Trinity Catholic Church and served on the CWL for 50 years. Helen often opened her doors to other immigrating Hungarians and helped through interpreting for others. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday September 23rd 2015 from 2:30 -4:30 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Thursday September 24th 2015 at 11:00 am with Father Richard Dales as celebrant. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish or the Alzheimer Society.
