Helen Joan (Hartwick) Blackmore

BLACKMORE, Helen Joan – Passed away at Park Place, Woodstock on Saturday November 6th 2021. Helen J. Blackmore (nee Hartwick) of Woodstock in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Ross Lee Blackmore (Dec. 2020).  Loving mother of Susan Douglas and Scott Blackmore.  Cherished grandmother of Nathan and Matthew Douglas and great-grandmother of Emma Douglas and Logan Douglas.  Predeceased by her son Kevin Blackmore (2003), sisters, Doris Woelfe, Jean Marshall and by her brother Karl Hartwick.  Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday November 9th 2021 from 2-4 pm.  A funeral service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 175  Springbank Ave.N., Woodstock on Wednesday November 10th 2021 at 2:00 pm.  Cremation will follow with internment in the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery, Fisherville, Ontario.    Visitors must RSVP to attend the visitation and funeral service, through the funeral home website.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodstock Library or Bethany Lutheran Church.
