TAYLOR, Heather D. - With her loving family by her side, she valiantly fought to the end until her passing at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday August 9, 2017 in her 57th year. Beloved daughter of Barbara G. (nee Pollock) Meadows and the late Walter C. Meadows (2008). Loved mother of Jen Gowing (Dan Nickol). Cherished grandmother of Emily Gowing, Kaya Gowing, Brendan Nickol and Lyndsy Nickol. Dear sister of Terry Meadows and his wife DJ and Gayle McCallum and her husband Doug. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Chris Meadows, Somer Meadows (Ryan Seaton), Jason McCallum (Karma), Justin McCallum (Margaret) and by her great nieces and great nephews; Olivia, Salma, Jannah, Keira, Hani, Emma, Ezra and Seth. Heather will be sadly missed by her dearest friends; Della Milson, Harry Linthorne, Ross Taylor and by her loving puppy "Penny". Heather grew up in the Embro area. She worked for many years with H & R Block, Woodstock. One of her most enjoyable experiences was to spend time on the farm with her sister and go to the London Market. Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 2 - 5 pm. A private interment service will take place at the North Embro Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. Everything you did to help make Heathers last days more comfortable, will never be forgotten.
