Hazel Lorene (Groves) Voigt

VOIGT, Hazel Lorene (nee Groves) at her home at The Villiage of Oxford Gardens, Woodstock, formerly of Ingersoll, just a few days from her 90th Birthday. Mother of Cheryle Dawdry and Todd Smith. Grandmother of Tara Iacurti(Massimo) and Stacy Dawdry. Mom was a very proud GG to her 2 beautiful grand-daughters Emma Rachel and Elyse Sophia Iacurti. Predeceased by her husband Donald Voigt(1998) and her parents, Alfred and Nancy Groves of Salford. At mom's request there will be no Funeral Home Visitation. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, 1:00 pm at Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll. We would like to thank all of mom's friends for their many visits and card playing. Also, thanks to the staff at Oxford Gardens for providing a wonderful home for mom these last years and to the girls who took their breaks in her room and giving her lots of entertainment. Your kindness has been greatly appreciated. We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us over the past 2 1/2 years and especially the last 2 weeks. The notes from the girls in the kitchen and the visits from everyone else who always made her smile. Thanks also go to Dr. Jonny Tam and Suzanne, Dr. Karen Fryer, Marlene Franklin at CCAC, Jennifer Wilcock and everyone at St. Elizabeth's Care, all of the PSW girls from Red Cross for your care and giving us time to have a break. Your support and care have been so much appreciated. We would not have been able to keep mom in her home or made her final days so comfortable without the help from all of you. Thanks also to the residents at Oxford Gardens for your concern for mom during this time. Also, thanks to John Brock for his kind help during this time.
