Payne Hazel Peacefully at LHSC, Victoria Campus, London, on Saturday January 19, 2013. Hazel Louise (Wilson) Payne of London and formerly Thamesford in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Payne (2004) and caring mother of Elizabeth Vickery of London. Adoring Grandmother of Tammy (Joe) Kelly of Owen Sound, Christopher and Matthew (Mallory) Vickery of London. Great grandmother of Meagan and Brittany Hodge of Owen Sound and dear sister Florence "Dick" Weir of Thamesford. Predeceased by brothers Ellis, Harold, Daniel, Tom, George, Art and Bill Wilson as well as sister Pearl Weir. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, where Hazel's Life will be celebrated on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 1PM. Interment at Zion 7th Line Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. A Rebekah memorial service be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 630 PM. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to C5-400 staff and Dr. K. Shu at Victoria Campus and to VON personnel Joan Gerber and Maureen Nugent, as well as Gerard Hamoen, whose kindness and caring lightened the burden of our final goodbyes.
