deHaan - As the result of an accident on Saturday July 3, 2004, Harry deHaan of Dorchester in his 44th year. Beloved husband of Donna M. F. deHaan (nee Gilchrist) for over 20 years. Loved father of Jenny, Harry (Cory) and Yvette. Dear son of Arie and Jean deHaan. and brother of Willem and Elsie deHaan of Middleberg, South Africa, Gerald and Joyce deHaan of St. Catharines, Frieda and Dick Dekker of Salford, Joanne and Ken Cook of Innerkip, Albert deHaan of Innerkip, Jim and Jane deHaan of Norwich, Marcia and Mark vanDrunen of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Loved son-in-law of Joyce Gilchrist and brother-in-law of Debbie Almost, Kim, David and Mike Gilchrist and is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Harry was a member of the Sportster Club of London, was involved as a time keeper with the Bad Girls Hockey Club, played with the Embro Pick Up Hockey League and had served with the Board of Directors of the Standard Tube Credit Union. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Huron Park Baptist Church, 199 Berwick St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00am with Neil deHaan and Pastor Robert MacGregor officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. Preference for contributions to the Stevensons Camp, Thamesford would be appreciated.
