Harold Roland Highton

HIGHTON - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday February 14, 2008. Harold R. Highton of Woodstock in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Elma M. (nee Beer) Highton for over 60 years. Dear father of Janice Reynolds, Cheryl Milatz and her partner Bill Hutton and Paul Highton and his wife Kathy all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister-in-law Ethel McIntosh and Marjorie Beer both of Cambridge. Predeceased by his five sisters, a brother and a brother-in-law. Harold served with the O.P.P. for over 25 years with various detachments across central and south western Ontario, he was a longtime member of the O.P.P.A. and a past members of the Hespeler, Kincardine and Ripley Royal Canadian Legions. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday February 17, 2008 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am.
