HART, RUSSELL - With his family by his side at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday September 23, 2012. H. Russell Hart of Woodstock at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Mayben (nee Stewart) Hart for over 47 years. Dear father of Shelley Hart and her partner Jen Shearer of Ingersoll, Jason Hart and his wife Laurissa "Rissa" of Woodstock and father-in-law to Donald Brekelmans of Embro. Loved gramps of Jacob, Alex, Monica, Hailey and Colin. Dear brother of Dorothy Barber (Cecil) of Woodstock and brother-in-law to Joan Hart of Toronto, Doreen Toohey (late Jim) of Woodstock, Alice Thomas (Walter) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, George Stewart (Jean) of Ottawa, Celia Stewart of England and survived by his many nieces and nephews and closest friend "Marshall". Predeceased by his son William, siblings Bill, Charlie, Alice Hurd, Rose Andrews, sister-in-law Mary Stewart and brother-in-law Jack Stewart, special "nephew" David Hurd and by his furry friends Boy, Tipper, Quiggley and Junior. Russell was a member of the Buick Club of Canada and 4.A.C.C. His love for animals was found not only in his dogs, but also his Racoons at the trailer. Russell especially loved his time driving antique cars and fishing with the boys. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday September 27, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment later in the Princeton Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the London Humane Society would be appreciated.
