BUCKRELL, Gwen - At her residence on Monday March 7, 2011. "Gwen" Gwendolyn June (nee Hill) Buckrell of Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock and formerly of Burgessville in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of Philip William Buckrell for over 69 years. Dear mother of LeRoy (Ruth Ann) Buckrell of Burgessville and Ron (Linda) Buckrell of Kilgore, Texas. Loving grandmother of Janice (Tony) Graham, Geoff (Lisa), Scott (Elizabeth) and Chris (Kristi) Buckrell. Proud great grandmother of John (Ellicia), Jason (Julie Deller) and Jessica (Jamie Elliott) Topham, Jared, Alison, Taylor, Matthew, Adam, Jacob, Noah, Hannah and Ambrey Buckrell. Step-great grandmother of Tyler, Leanne and Kirk Graham and great-great grandmother of Ava Topham. Dear sister of Marguerite A., the late Ron (Glenna), and Bill (the late Marguerite) Hill, sister-in-law of Maurice (Ruby), the late Fred ( the late Eulalie), the late Wilfred, Les (Rita) Buckrell, Joy (the late Glenn) Mather, Maisie (the late Dave) Wheatley, and the late Maida (the late Robert) McCutcheon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gwen was a longtime member of Oxford Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday March 9, 2011 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Lola Mather-Dyer officiating. Interment later in the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. If desired, donations in Gwen's memory to Woodstock General Hospital or Oxford Baptist Church would be appreciated.
