Graham Tupper Hart

Passed away at home on Monday June 12th, 2023. Graham Tupper Hart of RR# 3, Woodstock aged 79. Beloved husband of Eleanor Hart (deceased) for over 50 years. Loved father of Darren (Sara) Hart, Megan Hart, Jessica (Brad) Houle, and Jonathan Hart. Loving Poppa of Ella and Blake. Dear brother of John and David (both deceased).  Loving Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Allison (FitzRandolph) and George Hart.

Graham graduated with degrees in Agriculture (University of Guelph) and Education Management (Indiana University).  Graham was an active farm partner for over 45 years with Lokoja Farm Ltd.

Graham was an active member of the United Church communities in Woodstock and Embro in a variety of roles.

Deeply involved in his community, he championed social welfare issues to improve the lives of those less fortunate through numerous local and international organizations, such as Rotary International, CUSO, VON, Alzheimer’s Society, and Inn Out of the Cold.

A long-time serving trustee for Oxford with the Oxford County School Board and the Thames Valley District School Board, he actively worked to improve education in the community.  He was dedicated to supporting the Liberal Party in Oxford County.

He will be greatly missed by his family and the numerous friends, groups, and organizations he was involved with.

Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday June 20, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm. A memorial service to celebrate Graham’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Embro on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 11:00 am  with Rev. Susan Cole officiating.
