ROSS, Gordon Eugene - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the VON Sakura House on Saturday December 5, 2015 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Margaret J. Ross (nee Towle) for over 56 years. Loving father of Bill and Louise (Prouse), Greg and Jewel (nee Haight) and Terry and Lynne (nee Nicklas). Cherished grandfather of Jillian, Drew and Jessica Ross, Annette Toth (Jason) and Troy Ross (Jess) and great-grandfather of Tori Ross, Roy Ross, Colin Toth and Cody Toth. Dear brother of Bruce (Geraldine) Ross. Loved son-in-law of Edith Bruce. Dear brother-in-law of Shirley and Don Hewlett, Mary and Bill Wilson and Tom and Karen Towle. Eugene is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and May Ross, sister Catherine Dickson, brother-in-law Alex and father-in-law Ed Towle. Eugene attended Knox Presbyterian Church Embro all of his life. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday December 10, 2015 at 11am.
