REYNEN, Gordon – Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28th, 2021 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, in his 88th year. Loving father of Robert (Deb Kamps), Mark (Gillian) and father-in-law to Judy Reynen (Dean Wilcox) and stepfather of John (Rose) Mutsaers, Henry (Janet) Mutsaers, Peter (Lisa) Mutsaers, Anne (John) Reintjes, Kim Mutsaers, and Joan (Ken) Hutchison. Cherished Opa to Jamie (Vanessa), Sara (Carson), Jeremy (Emily), Melissa (Joel), Amy, Alex, and Jacob. Great Opa to Henry, Marner and Maeve. Dear brother of John (Nellie), Theresa Bannick, and brother-in-law to Jan Vleuten, Harry (Joanne) Vleuten, Andy (Marlene) Vleuten, Ted (Carol) Vleuten and Marina (John) Skitch. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Laura Reynen, first wife Elizabeth (nee Vleuten) (2006), his cherished son Alan (2016), his second wife Cathy Mutsaers (2019), his 9 siblings, 4 in-laws, his step-children Andrew and Jim Mutsaers. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held with inurnment at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday December 3rd, 2021 from 2 to 4 and again from 6 to 8.
