NUDDS, Gordon - At Sakura House on Tuesday December 18, 2012. Charles Gordon Nudds of Woodstock in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Carole G. (nee Smith) Nudds for 62 years. Dear father of Gord Nudds and his wife Raquel; Lou-Anne Osmond and her husband Murray and Mike Nudds and his wife Jean. Loved grandfather of Scott; Stephen Osmond, Jessica; Michael Nudds, Garrett; Deirdre Nudds. Dear brother of Jack Nudds and brother-in-law to Jenny Nudds and is survived by several members of the Smith family and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Gerry and Noel. Gord was a past Mason with the Woodstock, Stratford and Ingersoll Lodges, and a Shriner with the Rameses Lodge, Toronto. He served with the Signal Corps. and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock. Gord may have been best known for his love for hockey. He had played Junior A in Stratford, the Woodstock Athletics and was drafted to the Chicago Blackhawks when it was the original 6. A private interment service will be held at a later date by the family in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
