Gordon James Fordham

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon James (Jim) Fordham on April 17, 2024 in his 91st year.  A hard working family man who leaves behind his beloved wife Doreen (nee Neabel), to whom he devoted every moment to her well-being, without fail.   Left to mourn also are his daughters Cheryl Grier, Lori Fordham (Ken), Susan Honcoop (Richard) and four grandchildren Nicole, Kenzie, Rachel and Carter.   Fondly remembered by his sister, Marilyn Miller.

Predeceased by his parents Rose and William Fordham, his sister Sylvia Van-Santen and his step mother Mary Fordham

Gord was a man of few words, always ready for a good joke and enjoyed simple things in life.  He spent many a day on the road driving transport, an occupation he loved, and in his spare time he enjoyed just tinkering in his garage and making wood working projects for family and friends.  He particularly enjoyed his weekly outings at the coffee shop with his buddies.

The family would like to express their sincere and thankful appreciation to the staff at People Care Tavistock, where he resided the last couple of months,  for their kind and compassionate care of Gord.
