Goldie Kathleen Shellington

SHELLINGTON - Peacefully at the Woodstock Private Hospital on October 19, 2008. Goldie Kathleen Shellington in her 89th year. Only child of the late William and Florence Wilson. Predeceased by her loving husband Donald (1997), eldest son Robert (2004), daughter-in-law Lynda Shellington (1977) and son-in-law Bob Kimberley (1994). A quiet soft spoken woman, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Marion Kimberley (Walt) and Helen Shellington both of Woodstock, and her sons Donnie (Brenda) of Eastwood and Glen (Geri) of Woodstock. Also survived by her brother-in-law LaVerne (Marjorie) Shellington, daughter-in-law Anna Shellington and Mom's very special friend John Vanden Dool. Goldie was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Goldie was former employee of the Woodstock Private Hospital, a member of the First Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge Family Centre, Woodstock. Friends are invited to join with the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday October 21, 2008 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
