Glenna Winnifred (Mighton) Nelson

NELSON- At Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday September 21st 2004, Glenna Winnifred Nelson (nee Mighton) of Wellington St. N., Woodstock in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Doug. Loved mother of Gary and his wife Helen of London, Brian and Sue, and Stephen all of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Craig and his fiancee Karen, James, Erin, Rebekah, and Adrienne. Glenna is survived by her siblings Edward Mighton, Harold Mighton, Victoria Scalisi, Jim Mighton and his wife Kay, her brother-in-law James Nelson, sister-in-law Elizabeth Buckthorp, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Olive and brother Arthur. Glenna was a lifetime member of the Woodstock General Hospital Auxiliary. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. (539-0004) on Thursday from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated.
