ZAPFE, Glen - At the Woodstock Hospital on Friday May 20, 2016. Glen Henry Zapfe of Woodstock at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Ruth E. (nee Steinman) Zapfe for over 28 years. Dear father of Shaun Storey. Cherished brother to Margie (Bob) Allan. Loved son-in-law of Vivian (late Wilfred) Steinman and brother-in-law to Joan Zapfe and Janice (John) Beecraft. Glen will always be remembered by his several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Abe and Janet (nee Aikenhead) Zapfe, brother Hugh Zapfe, sister Blanche (Ken) Parke and by his niece Catherine Parke. Glen was a very active man. He was an avid golfer, was a past ball player, hockey player and especially loved his time boating. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 24, 2016 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
