SMART - After a lengthy illness at the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday October 4, 2003. Glen Victor Smart of Kent St., Woodstock in his 78th year. Loved brother of Phyllis Maskell, Muriel Hilsdon, Ann Murray, Alfred and his wife Jean all of Woodstock. Dear brother in law of Agnes Smart of Woodstock. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Loved friend of Clara Yates and her family of Woodstock. Predeceased by his brothers Robert, Frederick and James. Glen was a life member of the Woodstock Kinsmen Club, a member of the Beachville Legion Br. # 495, The Oxford County Naval Veterans Association, Alzheimer Society, Ducks Unlimited and the Woodstock Home Builders Association. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, on Thursday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Bob Yates officiating. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
