KITCHEN, Glen - Passed away peacefully at home at 'R.R.4' on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of wife Jean Wallace (deceased). Father of Marjorie, Brian (Sue) and Dorothy Jean (Lance). Papa of Jennifer (Ian), Elizabeth (Karl), Leah (John), Sarah (Kevin) and Curtis (Kristen), and Great-Papa of Isabella and Grace, Susanna, Cameron and Heidi, and Cole and Rachel. Brother of James (Margaret) and predeceased by Stu (Marg). There was a special place in Glen's heart for his nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law, and he was a life-long friend to many. Special friend of Joan Milne. Former Oxford County Warden and Reeve of East Oxford Township, Glen also worked with Shur-Gain and operated his own Glen Erle Farms. He was a proud resident of Curries and he enjoyed the fellowship of Curries United Church and the Blenheim Masonic Lodge as a Past Master. He was eager to share his love of Muskoka at Harp Lake. Always ready with a witty joke or comment, Glen was a true gentleman who whistled his way through 94 years of life with a handshake and smile for everyone he met along the way. The next time you look towards heaven and see a beautiful full moon, please give Glen a nod. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 1:30pm.
