WELCH- Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Gladys E. Welch (nee Townsin) of Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Welch (1976). Dear mother of June Habekost, Elaine Sears, Richard (Marie) Welch, Andrew (Grace) Welch. Loved grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Adoptive grandmother to special grandchildren Derek, Lara, Jamie, Codey, Beau, and Christopher. Remembered by special friends Barb, Brenda and Bradley. Predeceased by her parents Ted and Minnie Townsin, grandson Gary (1965), five brothers and three sisters and dear friend Bert Thorpe (1988). Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 7 pm for a memorial service to honour Gladys' life.
