Gladys Louise (Neal) Hanmer

HANMER (Hallock), Gladys - At her residence on Saturday January 17th 2015. Gladys Louise (nee Neal, Hallock) Hanmer of Caressant Care Woodstock in her 84 th year. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Clinton Hanmer (2003). Dear mother of Lynda Remington, Neal Hallock and his wife Gwen, Susan Hargreaves and her husband Ted and Brad Hallock and his wife Ronnie. Cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of sixteen. Dear sister of Doris Lewis and her husband Jim and loving aunt of two nieces. Predeceased by her parents Cliff and Vi Neal. Gladys volunteered at the Court House and with the Christmas Hampers both through the Salvation Army for over 25 years. She was a driver with the Children's Aid Society and was a past employee of Bell Canada, Dominion Stores and Kitchings Marketeria. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday January 23, 2015 from 7-9 pm and again on Saturday from 10 - 11 am. A memorial service to celebrate Gladys' life will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Major Stephen Sears officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery . If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Salvation Army Woodstock would be appreciated.
