Dear brother of Janny Kay-Janssen and her husband Donald Kay, Corrie Janssen and her husband Jan Bussink, Gerda van der Heide-Janssen and her late husband Paul van der Heide (1997), Margreet Janssen and and her husband Jan te Raa, Annette Janssen and her husband Wilfred Klaassen, Gerard Janssen and his wife Rianne Blankenstijn and Wim Janssen and his wife Froukje Knol. Loved son-in-law of Alie van Vliet (Veerman) and Leen van Vliet and brother-in-law of Margriet van de Hazel-van Vliet and her husband Jan van de Hazel, Joke van der Steeg-van Vliet and her husband Peter van der Steeg, Leo van Vliet, Wilma van Blankers-van Vliet and her husband Jacob van Blankers and by his many nieces and nephews.
