On Christmas morning, December 25, 2023, Gerald "Jake Leuszler went home. Jake lived his life quietly & peacefully, and was granted his wish to leave quietly and peacefully, in his own home with his wife by his side. Jake will be remembered as a steadfast provider and loving husband of 63 years to his wife Lois. To his girls, Sue, Shelley, Cindy (John) and Gerri (Darrell) he will be remembered as a father who was always whistling, throwing a ball, or playing cards for toothpicks
Jake leaves to carry on his legacy his grandchildren Steven (Anita), Ashley (Bob), Branden and Madison who gained so much from his quiet guidance through the years. His great grandchildren, Seanna, Faith, Ethan, Spencer, Mason and Maverick, will continue to hear the stories of their great-grandpa.
Fond memories and good laughs will be remembered by his sister Bonny, Brother-in-Law & Sister-In-Law Bill (Cherri-Lew) and Ruth and Hank (Sue)
Excitedly greeting Jake are his Dad, Bill, Mom, Mildred, Mother & Father in Law Tom & Ethel and his grandson Dan. & daughter Sally Lou.
Friends and family, too numerous to mention, all helped Jake to live an extraordinary life with lots of laughter, and fun. Friends and family are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life at the Drumbo Agricultural Hall for a chance to share your memories on Sunday December 31, 2023 from 1-4pm.
The family gratefully ask that if you wish to make a donation you consider Sakura House. His team of care workers are extraordinary people and gave him peace and dignity the last few years.
We are reminded of how short life really is, and how we are just passing through. ...
