LAZENBY- Peacefully at Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Gerald Lazenby of RR #6 Woodstock in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Irene Lazenby (nee Hillsdon). Dear father of Gail Konigshofer and her husband David of Tillsonburg and Kevin and his wife Shiela of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Alyssa Fries, Reilie Lazenby, Abbyanna and Andrea Konigshofer. Loved son-in-law of Teresa Hillsdon and the late William Hillsdon. Dear brother of Barbara Killing of Tavistock, Norma Stere of Durham, Murray Lazenby and his wife Gwyn of Hickson and brother-in-law of Rose Izzard of Woodstock, Howard Hillsdon and his wife Carol of Oxford Centre, Audrey Hillsdon of Woodstock and Everett Hillsdon and his wife Eva of Ingersoll. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elton and Gertrude Lazenby, and brothers-in-law Ted Killing and Raymond Stere. Gerald taught with the 4H Club for over 30 years as well as volunteered with the Hickson Recreation Committee for many years. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) Monday from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, Huntingford on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment following cremation at Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Huntingford.
