Gerald Leslie Easton

EASTON, Gerald L. - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, February 24th, 2019, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Marilyn Easton (nee Slade). Loving father of Wally (Val), Debbie (Michael) Kerr, Jamie (Lana), and Cindy Meriam. Cherished step father of Perry, Tom, and Bonnie Kramer, and Darlene Nichol. Proud grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 7. Dear brother to Marge (Jerry) Genyn. Gerry will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Ricci, step daughter Shelley Kramer, and his brothers Doug and Bobby. Gerry was a WWII Veteran in the Navy. He was one of the founders of the Legion Branch #55 and the Woodstock Navy Club and was a life time member and past president of both. Gerry enjoyed staying active in his community and was a past Zone Commander in the Legion. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am, where the Legion and Funeral Service will take place in the chapel at 11:00 am.
