Gerald Allen Budden

BUDDEN, G. Allen- August 21, 1943 in his 76th year peacefully passed at Mount Hope Long Term Care home on November 4,2018. Son of the late Samuel Ernest Budden and Harriett Elizabeth Caldwell. Lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret Anne (nee Campbell), and children Stuart (Lea), Andrea, Stephen (Renee) and Granddaughters Ella, and Mackenzie. Predeceased by brother Walter, and Donald. Survived by brother Len (Audrey) and sister Harriett (Doug) (Bob) and sister in- law Wanda, Susan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Allen owned a successful dairy farm for many years with registered Holsteins that were acquired internationally. Allen played hockey and Baseball and relished in teaching his kids how to skate on the neighbour's pond. For over a decade, he served the public of West Nissouri Township as Councillor, Deputy Reeve, and Reeve. Cremation and burial have taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Purple Hill Country Hall, 20903 Purple Hill Rd, Thorndale, Ontario on November 25th, 2018 at 1:00PM. If desired, remembrance may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Mount Hope Long Term Care and Junior Farmers' Association of Canada Endowment Fund and of your choice.
