George Henry Skillings

SKILLINGS - It is with great sadness that the family is announcing the passing of George Henry Skillings in his 84th year. Peacefully in his sleep, at his home in Woodstock, Sunday, February 7, 2010. He was still the head of the family, always there for guidance, knowledge, or just his point of view. A void that will be felt for some time. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 58 years, Thelma Jean (nee Gerrard); his children Tina and Raymond Cave, Don, Jaki and Jeff Williams, Peter and Zdenka; his grandchildren Travis, Diane, Alex, Ben and Emma whom he cherished. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, February 12, 2010 after 1:00 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Barbara Dawson of Oxford Centre United Church officiating.
