RODWELL - Suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. George Ernest Rodwell of R.R.#3, Woodstock in his 77th year. Cherished son of Olive E. Rodwell (late George L.). Beloved husband of the late Rosalyn (Rose) Marie Rodwell (nee Brunger) (2004). Dear father of Lynda Carlisle and her husband Rick, Carole Rodwell, Rob Rodwell and his wife Dorothy (Dee) and Brenda Sheridan. Loved grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Kathleen Willits and her husband George, and Gordon Rodwell and his wife Helen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Richard. A celebration of George's life will take place at The Rock Community Church, 1140 Nellis St., Woodstock, on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Adam Brown and Pastor Glenn Rider officiating. Visitation and reception to follow. Interment to take place in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
