George Allan Robertshaw

ROBERTSHAW, George - At the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday December 20, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Shirley L. (nee Hallock) Robertshaw for over 60 years. Dear father of Ken and his wife Linda, Keith and his wife Rose, Allan and his wife Vickey, Judy Giroldi and her husband Joe and Cathy Merkley and her husband Rick and father-in-law to Mark Larocque. Loved grandfather of fifteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Mary Brown and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Linda Larocque, by his brothers Johnny, Art, Herbert and by his sister Laura. George was an employee of the City of Woodstock for over 25 years. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday December 27, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A memorial service to honour George's life will be held at Church of the Epiphany, 560 Dundas St., Woodstock, on Sunday December 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Stephen Hendry officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Church of the Epiphany would be appreciated.
