George Edwin Montgomery

George E. Montgomery passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024, at home in Woodstock, Ontario. Born on September 29, 1952, in Trenton, Ontario.

George's life was one marked by warmth, good times, and a deeply rooted love for his family and friends.

George was pre-deceased by his partner in life, Sandra Cowan (Scooter), parents George (Pops) Montgomery and Helen Montgomery.  He will be truly missed by his sisters Susan Montgomery, Patsy Brinkhof (Joe), Ruth Montgomery, and Betty VanSanten (Chris Cove), son Stephen Thomas, many nieces and nephews and stepmother Christine Kinney.

George's home was the hub of social activities for his friends at Hidden Valley Estates.  His boisterous laugh made others laugh along with him.

George's interest in animals was evident throughout his life.  From dogs, kitties, birds, exotic animals and plants, nature benefited from his warm heart.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In George's memory, donations to the OXFORD COUNTY ANIMAL RESCUE will be appreciated.

A Celebration of Life will be on what would be Georges 72nd birthday, Sunday September 29th, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Hidden Valley Estates.
