KNOOPS- George Louis Gerard Knoops- born October 11, 1909 - June 30, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Maria Hendrika Knoops (nee vanHall), with whom he was married for 67 years when she passed away in February 2003. Dear father of Rina Fiorino and her husband Joe and Maria Jones and her husband Grant all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Mike Fiorino and his wife Shelly, Lisa Roorda and her husband David, Roberto Fiorino, Monique Greczula and her husband John, Paul Jonker, Sonya Smith and her husband Tim. Loved great grandfather of Brad Fiorino, Hillary Roorda, Wyatt Jonker, Ben, Austin and Dylan Smith. George was the last surviving member of his own family, and was a proud employee as an electrician with Standard Tube for 25 years. He was predeceased by a sister and five brothers in Holland. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
