KENT, George E. A. - Rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord, II Cor. 5:8). At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, March 14, 2011 George Edward Arthur Kent of Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Florence A. (nee Feeney) Kent (2005). Dear father of Fraser (Leona) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Brian (Lillian) of Kitchener and Jonathan (Linda) of Norwich. Loved grandfather of Steven Kent (Brandi), Rebecca Martens (Eric), Carrie, Victoria and great grandfather of Taliah, Seth and Jackson. Dear brother of Tom Kent (Heather) of Wasaga Beach, Mary Cowper (Don), Jessie Kent all of Collingwood and brother-in-law of Eileen Kent of Guelph and Beth Kent of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Marie (2007) and siblings; Ruth, John and Dave. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. The complete funeral service will be held at the Huron Park Baptist Church, 199 Berwick St., Woodstock on Friday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Steve Boctor officiating. Interment at a later date in the Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Fair Havens Bible Conference ( www.fairhavens.org ) would be appreciated.
