George Hugh Hancock

HANCOCK- At Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday March, 10, 2009. George Hugh Hancock of Ingersoll and formerly of Cambridge and Hamilton, where they spent most of their adult life in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy "Doris" Hancock (nee Wagner). Devoted father of Jayne Jeans and her husband Jack of Bowmanville. Loving grandfather of Jana, Jaclyn and Jasmine Jeans, also of Bowmanville. George is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Margaret Bott, and William Hancock. George was a longtime member of the Hi-Way Pentecostal Church Ingersoll and was well known by his friends at Tim Hortons. Friends will be received at the Hi-Way Pentecostal Church 584118 Beachville Rd., Ingersoll, (519-485-0961) on Saturday March, 14, 2009 after 10 am, where the complete funeral service will be held in the sanctuary at 11 am with Pastor Phil Carroll officiating. Interment later in the New Preston cemetery, Cambridge.
